Kyomen

Kyomen is a fast-paced isometric action game that blends bullet-hell combat with dynamic arena mechanics. Players control an Oni bound to three masks, each altering the player’s abilities and the behaviour of the environment. As mask energy is consumed in combat, the arena shifts and new enemy patterns emerge, forcing players to constantly adapt their strategy. The game focuses on movement, reflex-driven combat, and managing risk through mask cycling and combo-based scoring.

Ballad of Auld Dunrod

The Ballad of Auld Dunrod is a stealth-focused prototype built around line-of-sight mechanics and patrol-based enemy behaviour. Players must navigate environments carefully, using hiding spots and movement timing to avoid detection. The design explores how player awareness, spatial positioning, and enemy patrol systems influence stealth gameplay.

This project was developed in collaboration with Magic Torch Comics to bring a piece of their heritage to life through an interactive game.

Just A Chill Fishing Game

Just a Chill Fishing Game is a relaxing pixel-art experience focused on simple gameplay loops and character-driven interactions. Players complete fishing tasks for a marmot shopkeeper while exploring light narrative moments and humour through dialogue. The project explores pacing, player reward systems, and cozy gameplay design.
